  Volunteer Kit-Building Party

Join The Bakken Museum for monthly Kit-Building Parties.  Help prepare materials for field trip groups and other events.  Cut confetti, sort LEGOs, package experiment kits and more.  This is a great group activity for 2-16 people.  Kit-Building Parties take place the third Thursday of each month between 2 p.m. and 6 p.m.  Stay as little or as long as you like.  For more information about volunteering at The Bakken or to RSVP, contact Austine Vaughn, Manager of Visitor Experience at 612-926-3878 ext. 220 or via e-mail using her last name @thebakken.org.

  Behind-the-Scenes Tour

The Bakken Museum offers a remarkable setting in which to discover the science of electricity and magnetism by creatively combining history with interactive, hands-on learning.  Behind-the-Scenes Tours of the museum and library include a look at the museum's workshop, kids' inventions, exhibits, a rare book display and much more.  Participants hear about the variety of programs designed to encourage young people and familiies to discover the exciting world of science and experience the unique learning environment.  For more information about Behind-the-Scenes Tours or to RSVP, contact Kristi Sebey, Development Manager at 612-926-3878 ext. 252 or via e-mail using her last name @thebakken.org.
