Come build with the Bakken
The Bakken Museum and the Minnesota Tool Library are uniting their skill, knowledge, and access to tools to offer a new program: Bakken Builds. During two daylong sessions, parents and children eight and older are invited to build their very own project. Join us to learn how to use tools and gain new skills — no prior experience with carpentry required.
Build a freestanding marble run! During this two-session class, you will learn basic tool safety and woodworking skills. During the first week, participants will create a basic framework from a detailed drawing. In the second week, groups will finalize, personalize, and test their ramps.
