Come build with the Bakken

The Bakken Museum and the Minnesota Tool Library are uniting their skill, knowledge, and access to tools to offer a new program: Bakken Builds. During two daylong sessions, parents and children eight and older are invited to build their very own project. Join us to learn how to use tools and gain new skills — no prior experience with carpentry required.

During this two-session class, you will learn basic tool safety and woodworking skills to build your own marble run. Participants will create a basic framework from a detailed drawing. In the second week, groups will finalize, personalize, and test their ramps.

This session has been canceled and will be rescheduled at a later date.

Keep your eyes out for upcoming education sessions!
