Build, Program, Test, Repeat!

The Bakken Museum's LEGO Robotics Program gives kids ages 8 through 12 the opportunity to embark on an adventurous challenge to build and program LEGO robots. No prior experience with computer programming or robots needed.  Programs occur on four consecutive Saturdays in the fall, winter, and spring.

Spring

DIY ARCADE

Combine high and low tech to make arcade games from cardboard and LEGO Robots. During this session students will work together to build and program customized games learning some basic programming and mastering techniques for working and shaping LEGOs.

LEGO CHALLENGES - FOR 3RD, 4TH, 5TH, & 6TH GRADERS

  • 2:00 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Price

Each session costs $160 (or $144 for families with a Household or Supporting Membership)

Scholarships

The Bakken offers income based scholarships to help provide access to its youth programs. Please visit the Youth Program Scholarships page for more information.

  • Mail a completed registration form with a check
  • Complete your registration by phone at 612-926-3878.
  • Stop by the museum to complete a registration form and pay using cash, check or credit card.  

Please note that submitting a registration form does not guarantee you a spot. We will send you an email to confirm your registration.
