Health Care and Life Sciences Sales Director leads local movement to encourage high school students to explore STEM careers

MINNEAPOLIS, Mn. - Sept. 15, 2026 -  Heather Landon, health care and life sciences sales director for Slalom Consulting, LLC, will serve as the executive volunteer chair of the 2026 Twin Cities STEM Goes Red event. STEM Goes Red is the American Heart Association’s initiative to empower high school female students in grades 9-12 to consider STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) related fields. Some of these students will become our next cardiologists, researchers, scientists, engineers and technology leaders who can help advance innovation and end heart disease.
