Sospiri di Mostri Concert

Sospiri di Mostri Concert

Sospiri di Mostri: A Great Hall Concert

Admission includes access to the museum starting at 3:15pm.

Aberrant and often malevolent creatures have always populated art, literature, and music to no small degree. Whether it be classical tales of heroic conquest – Hercules defeating the Hydra, Ulysses’ escape from the Sirens – or operatic obstacles like Giants and Sea Monsters, these fantastical creatures give shape to our deepest fears and desires.

In Sospiri di Mostri, we explore the realm of monsters through the lens of early music. Our program delves into the imaginations of poets and composers from the medieval through the baroque eras. Fortifying our ranks for this journey, we have two amazing guest artists joining Sospiri – bass-baritone Daryl Yoder and monster scientist Matt Kessen.

Tickets are only $25. Secure your spot today before it sells out!
