Bees, Bugs and Birds Workshop

  • The Bakken Museum 3537 Zenith Avenue South Minneapolis, MN, 55416 United States (map)

Kids entering grades 3-5 are invited to experience the ins and outs of pollinators with games, models, and hands-on activities! Participants will pretend to be a bee, explore our native plant gardens, and take home a pollinator craft while learning about the amazing animals that make the fruits and flowers we love.

Weather permitting, this workshop will start in the museum’s classrooms and then move outside. We encourage you to prepare your young innovator for outside exploration including applying sunscreen and bringing a water bottle and hat. Also, please note that we will be doing hands-on learning with real flowers and pollen.

This program is presented in collaboration with Hennepin County Green Partners.
