Inventors Club Begins

  • The Bakken Museum 3537 Zenith Avenue South Minneapolis, MN, 55416 United States (map)

THE INNOVATIONS OF TOMORROW START TODAY.

We believe every child is a scientist at heart. In the Inventors Club program, young people explore the exciting world of invention and innovation. Working with Bakken Museum staff and volunteer mentors, students become inventors as they discover how things work through hands-on learning.

  • During six Saturday sessions, students plan, build, improve, and show off a unique project.

  • Students create inventions in a specially designed student makerspace with the materials, tools, and equipment necessary to ensure each student can create their very own project.

  • Each session has a high ratio of mentors to students, ensuring each student gets frequent and individualized attention.

  • Students have the opportunity to socialize and share their ideas with other people their age with similar interests.

COVID-19 SAFETY

To protect students and museum staff against the spread of COVID-19, class sizes are limited. Both students and adults are required to wear face coverings over their mouth and nose while inside the museum.
