Inventors Club Begins

  • The Bakken Museum 3537 Zenith Avenue South Minneapolis, MN, 55416 United States (map)

We believe every child is a scientist at heart. In the Inventors Club Program, young people explore the exciting world of invention and innovation. Working with Bakken staff and volunteer mentors, students in the program become inventors as they discover how things work through hands-on learning and apply their experiences to brainstorm, design, and build their own inventions to take home.

Students create inventions in a specially designed student makerspace with the materials, tools and equipment necessary to ensure each student can create a unique project.

Each session has a high ratio of mentors to students (usually a 1:4 ratio) ensuring each student gets frequent and individualized attention.

Students have the opportunity to socialize and share their ideas with other people their age with similar interests!

The Bakken offers income-based scholarships to help provide access to its youth programs. | LEARN ABOUT SCHOLARSHIPS
