Join us at The Bakken Museum for a Discovery Days family event! Women in Science will feature interactive learning stations, make-and-take activities, and experts working in science, technology, engineering, and math.

Activities include:

  • Identify soil colors and plant species with the Minnesota Wetland Professionals Association

  • Try a mathematical magic trick

  • Learn how scientists use pig hearts to improve technology with Boston Scientific

  • Use a body-powered prosthosis from Gillette Children's Specialty Healthcare

  • Make a DNA necklace

  • Get to know plan evolution with the CBS Conservatory and Botanical Collection

  • Play with squishy circuits from The Playful Learning Lab

  • And more!

Discovery Days activities are included with museum admission. Purchase tickets online in advance or drop in for the fun!
