Discovery Days: Women in Science

Get inspired by women using science, technology, and the humanities to make the world a better place. Join us for a family-focused event featuring hands-on activity tables, interactive experiments, and demonstrations by community partners. 

Event highlights include: 

  • Discover the fascinating way plants from around the world adapt to climate with The University of Minnesota CBS Conservatory and Botanical Collection

  • Learn about the use of myoelectric sensors to control a prosthetic hand with Gillette Children’s

  • Explore the wonders of color changing chemistry with our educators

This event is recommended for ages 5-14, plus friends and family. Discovery Day access and activities are included with the cost of museum admission.
