Bakken Book Club
Join us over four Wednesday evenings to discuss Heart: A History by Sandeep Jauhar (2018) and learn about artifacts related to the literature.

Bakkenalias includes food trucks, drinks (both alcoholic and non-alcoholic), and activities presented by museum educators and special guests.

Brilliant: a fundraising fête for The Bakken Museum
Our annual fundraising fête! We skip the chicken dinner to give experiences of our nationally recognized programs and collections.

SEARCH FOR NEW LEGO MINIFIGURES
Our LEGO Minifigure Hide and Seek has been updated! Now you can search for ten new Minifigures hidden throughout the museum. Each figurine represents a different innovator, voted on by you, our subscribers.
HOLIDAY HOURS
While the museum is usually closed on Mondays, we're holding special hours from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Presidents’ Day, Monday, February 20. Join us for hands-on activities in Science Studios and search for LEGO Minifigures hidden throughout the museum.
TINKERING AFTER DARK: ROBOT DATE NIGHT RETURNS
Thursday, February 23
6-8:30 p.m.
Let’s tinker together. Bring a partner (romantic or otherwise) to build and customize a robot in our makerspace. Registration includes your choice of robot kit, step-by-step instructions, and expert advice from our educators. Robot kit choices include an ostrich, rabbit, turtle, or racehorse.
LAST CHANCE – WINTER INVENTORS CLUB
Program begins this Saturday!
During Inventors Club, students in grades four through nine spend six consecutive Saturdays building an innovation of their design. Kids will understand how to use tools, coding, and technology to make, improve, and show off their projects.
