SUMMER SPOTLIGHT: OUTREACH EDUCATION
We're proud to share that over the past three months, we reached nearly 600 off-site students through GSK Science in the Summer program, led by The Franklin Institute.
We visited libraries, schools, and community centers all over Minnesota to share free STEM programming with elementary-aged students.
DISCOVERY DAYS: INNOVATION FAIR
Saturday, September 30 // 10 a.m. to 4 p.m..
Join us during our family Discovery Day as we celebrate all types of innovations. Try out interactive activities, meet local scientists, artists and creators, and get inspired to make an innovation of your own!
Discovery Days are included in the price of admission, and are FREE for museum members.
NEW GALLERY IN LOBBY
Members of Twin Cities Urban Sketchers met at the museum this summer for a day of sketching all things Bakken Museum. Now, those pieces are on display in our lobby!
This exhibition was produced in partnership with The Show. Museum admission is not required to view the exhibition.

BAKKENALIA: SCIENCE/FICTION
Thursday, October 5 | 6-9 p.m.
Explore the seam between real-life science and sci-fi during our last Bakkenalia of the year!
The evening will feature interactive experiences with museum educators and drink samples from special guests including La Doña Cervecería Brewery, Wooden Ship Brewing Company, Number 12 Cider, and more.
Tickets: $30, $25 for members
