Historical ambiance reigns supreme in the beautiful West Winds Mansion. Built in 1929 by William Goodfellow, West Winds was home to the first incarnation of what is now The Bakken Museum, and can be utilized in four distinct fashions, depending on the parameters of your event.
West Winds is the ideal setting for corporate functions such as team building, workshops, meetings, receptions, luncheons, and awards dinners. It is also the perfect backdrop for personal events such as weddings, anniversary and retirement celebrations.
The Great Hall and adjoining Sunroom are perfect for cocktail receptions, intimate dinners, corporate meetings, and more. Boasting picturesque windows, high ceilings, and ornately carved walnut paneling, this space is the perfect backdrop for your next gathering. The lovely Sunroom is bathed in light and offers patrons the opportunity to access our beautiful courtyard gardens via glass French doors.

The Galvani and Volta classrooms are perfect for classes, workshops, large meetings, receptions, or a larger dinner. Both rooms are equipped with reliable technology that allows for both audio and visual presentations. These rooms can be rented separately or as a whole. Versatile, they have the ability to house a formal board meeting in the afternoon, and an elegant banquet in the evening.
