West Winds is a 15-room Gothic-style and Tudor-style home built by William E. Goodfellow in 1930. Upon his death in 1944, Goodfellow gave his entire estate, valued at over $43 million in today’s dollars, to various charities. The home passed through several more hands before being purchased by Earl Bakken in 1976.
